Begin the 4-H Journey: Volunteer & Leader Training Offered by Extension
 
LIBERTY, NY— Any Sullivan County residents interested in becoming a youth development volunteer for Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Sullivan County or learning more about becoming involved with 4-H can begin the 4-H journey by attending an orientation on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 1 pm.
 
Anyone interested in volunteering for 4-H is invited to the Gerald J. Skoda Extension Education Center on 64 Ferndale-Loomis Road in Liberty. Participants of this free training will learn how to “Make the Best Better” in CCE’s 4-H Youth Development program by covering topics including the various ways one can become a 4-H volunteer, the requirements of the 4-H membership base, and what is involved with starting up a club.
