Say Yes to Healthy Living

CITIZEN U’s “Say Yes to Healthy Living” event at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School was spectacular!

Special thanks go to:
Our wonderful CITIZEN U Teen Leaders for planning the entire program–from hula hoops to spinach smoothies! Their creativity and ability to connect with the children from the Lee Barta Summer Youth Program and Theodore Roosevelt Summer Program was absolutely dazzling! So impressed with the Teen Leaders’ growth as program facilitators and their complete ease in front of a large crowd.

Kelly Mabee and Vince Sanford for their tireless coordination and unseen support of all the CITIZEN U Teen Leaders,

Rachel Parsons and Ann Supa for working with our CITIZEN U CHATs and sharing their enthusiasm for good nutrition
UnitedHealthcare’s Debra Reardon for bringing all the UHC “goodies and gifts” and clever educational display on food portions,

Colleen Wagner, Director of the City of Binghamton Youth Bureau, for her unwavering support of our young people
Beth Roberts for connecting with all the local media–we’ve already been on the early evening TV news programs and press coverage is expected in tomorrow’s newspaper.
