Lindsay Theodore is currently a sophomore studying Molecular and Cell Biology in the college of agriculture and life sciences at Cornell University. Outside of classes, she plays the cello in the Cornell Symphony Orchestra and will be working as a Biology Student Advisor for the Office of Undergraduate of Biology next year. In the future she hopes to attend veterinary school in the fall of 2013.
As a part of her education, she performs canine genetics research in the Sutter Lab at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. In the lab, her research is focuses on skeletal size variation in dogs. For more information on this research project, check out this link. Lindsay is a NYS 4H Rabbit Program alum from Orange County. During her 4H years, she was a 4-time Rabbit Science Decathlon champion (Intermediate in 2003, Advanced in 2004, 2005, 2007), as well as the 2007 silver medalist at the NYS Public Presentation competition. While in 4H, she attended the Career Explorations conference 3 times before serving as an FA (Focus Assistant). After 10 great years in the Orange County 4-H Hare Raisers club, she graduated from 4H in 2009 with a New York State 4-H Foundation Opportunity Scholarship.
